Ways to Volunteer

Elected Positions on the Executive Team

The PTA is guided by four elected positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary

Elections take place each May. Ideally, elected Executive Team Members will serve two-year terms. Each term begins in July and ends in June. These volunteer roles must be filled by paid PTA members. Learn more about the Executive Team in our Standing Rules.

Committees

While we hope you consider becoming a PTA member, membership is not required for many of the committee-based volunteer opportunities. Participating in these activities is a great way to learn more about the PTA, the school, and how your unique perspectives can enhance the Raven experience. If you are energized to bring to life an idea that’s not on this list, we welcome your energy! Sign up to join a committee today!

All volunteers must first fill out the Olympia School District Volunteer Application. The best way to find out about in-school and other volunteer opportunities is to join the PTA.

You Are the Secret Sauce
